Ben Mendelsohn revealed how he returned as Director Krennic in Andor

Fans of Rogue One were delighted to discover that Ben Mendelsohn would be reprising his role as Director Krennic in Andor Season 2, and it seems the actor himself was similarly pleased.
In an interview with Variety, Mendelsohn details how he managed to return to the role, how Andor has changed his feelings about Rogue One and whether he’d return to the role in future.
“Quite a while ago, not that long after the first season. Tony just said, “Would you be amenable to coming back and just doing a few scenes?” To which I was like, “Fuck yeah, absolutely.” Michael Clayton is somewhere in my 25 most-loved films of all time. And Krennic and the whole Star Wars experience was a really good one for me. But I had no idea how good it was going to be. It’s taken me by joyous surprise.
Asked to compare the Krennic we see in Andor compared to the one we meet in Rogue One, the actor explained that Krennic is “fruitier” than he was in the film, being relatively stress-free and with no great challenges to his pride.
“When we see him in Rogue One, we see him at the pinnacle of his achievement, but we also see him at the time when the other marshals of the Empire are going, “That looks pretty good. I think perhaps that’s actually my department now.” So he’s a lot more animated by that, you know, and obviously the great secret being that Galen Erso is the creator of the Death Star. Although I will never let go of the idea that I built the Death Star. It’s just it’s too good of a line. “You see him in more of a halcyon period [in Andor]. This is him still very much ascendant. He’s fruitier at this period. “There’s a sort of a sense of him strutting around a bit more, and enjoying himself more. He’s having a better time here. He’s conducting an operation which he feels completely mathematical about. He’s completely horrifying in a way that he’s not in Rogue One. Because I think the show is quite horrifying. We’ve never taken it to that kind of place, in such a fulsome way as we are here. It’s never been quite so grown up and full bodied in that way.”
Mendelsohn also mentioned that he wanted to play Krennic as the most powerful person in the room in Andor, in a way that he was rarely able to in Rogue One due to sharing multiple scenes with Grand Moff Tarkin and Darth Vader. source

Shogun Vader wins best in show at Star Wars Celebration Japan Cosplay Showcase

Where in the galaxy can you see Jocasta Nu, Enfys Nest, Baze Malbus, Omega, and Emperor Palpatine all in the same place at the same time?
Only at Star Wars Celebration Japan!
The Cosplay Showcase brought together cosplayers from all over the world to show off their astounding handiwork, attention to detail, and showmanship. The judges faced an almost impossible decision selecting only a few who stood out among all the talented competitors, as the passion for Star Wars behind each cosplay was apparent.
All of the costumes on display at Star Wars Celebration Japan were impressive – most impressive – including the Best in Show, Shogun Vader by Stephen Wong. Wong, from the San Francisco, California area, made his first trip to Japan for his third Celebration.

Shogun Vader by Stephen Wong
Wong put a shogun spin on Darth Vader, all thanks to a katana-inspired lightsaber purchased years ago.
“I decided I need a costume to go with the lightsaber,” he says. Wong made an early version of the costume and then took what he learned from the build to make a new cosplay for Star Wars Celebration Japan.

Cosplayer got all the fine little details
“The latest version [was] done over the past year or so, just building off of what I had done before. I had to make it all new if I was coming to Japan,” says Wong. “The main chest part is made of leather, and I have a friend who made this to my specifications. As for the helmet, I used ABS plastic and molded it myself. Using boiling water is my little tip. Bend it into shape, boil it for a bit, let it set, and then it’s good.” source

The Acolyte: Wayseeker
Publishers summary
Decades before Star Wars: The Acolyte, Vernestra Rwoh must rediscover her place within the Jedi Order.
Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh has spent years exploring the Outer Rim as a Wayseeker, answering to no authority but the Force itself. When the Jedi Council orders her to return to Coruscant, Vernestra ignores the summons, feeling that her priority is the beings she’s already serving.
So the Council dispatches Jedi Knight Indara to track down Vernestra to deliver the urgent message that a Republic senator has formally requested Jedi assistance, asking for Vernestra’s aid by name. Intrigued, Vernestra quickly finds herself pulled back into Coruscant’s complicated world of Republic politics and underworld crime.
The two could not be more different: Vernestra, a Jedi Master who has known conflict and loss during her decades in the Order, and Indara, a young Knight just coming into her own as a Jedi in a galaxy at peace. Trust is slow to develop as they clash over their views on serving the Jedi Order, the galaxy, and the Force.
But they must work together to decipher the connection between the senator and a trail of dangerous weapons threatening to wreak havoc on the Republic. As the two delve further into their investigation, the lines between Jedi and Republic business blur, and Vernestra must rediscover what it means to serve for Light and Life.
