‘Andor’ Season 2 Timeslot Confirmed for April 22 at 6pm PT
Hello there!
Good morning Star Wars lovers. Wookiee Weekly again with the new issue and more interesting Star Wars content for their fans.

What time is it? It’s Andor time!
Andor Season 2 timeslot confirmed

Andor is back.
Disney Plus has confirmed in a press release that Andor Season 2 will be releasing Tuesdays at 6pm PT/9pm ET, beginning April 22, following other latest original programming releases on the streaming platform. The press release, which gives a rundown of Disney Plus’s entire April offering if you’re interested, also included the following official synopsis for the show:
Lucasfilm’s Emmy®-nominated thriller Andor, returns for its long-awaited conclusion on April 22. The second season takes place as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Everyone will be tested and, as the stakes rise, the betrayals, sacrifices and conflicting agendas will become profound. Rife with political intrigue and danger, the series is a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which portrayed a heroic band of rebels who steal the plans to the Empire’s weapon of mass destruction—The Death Star—setting the stage for the events of the original 1977 film. Andor sets the clock back five years from the events of Rogue One to tell the story of the film’s hero, Cassian Andor, and his transformation from disinterested, cynical nobody into a rebel hero on his way to an epic destiny.
This will no doubt make many fans give a sigh of relief, particularly those who live east of the Pacific Time Zone. As it is, we’ll be treated to three episodes of Andor each week, which will likely translate to at least an hour and a half of show at a time if you commit to watching all episodes at once. Clearly, Disney saw an improvement in viewers or engagement to keep the time release at 6pm PT from their previous midnight releases. I’m certainly not complaining. source

John Boyega shares how Tom Cruise introduced him to J.J. Abrams

John Boyega and Daisy.
During John Boyega’s Popverse-moderated Spotlight panel at last weekend’s Emerald City Comic Con, he shared that an introduction to J.J. Abrams by Tom Cruise along with his turn in the 2011 cult classic Attack the Block helped land him the role in The Force Awakens.
Cruise and Abrams first worked together on 2006’s “Mission: Impossible III,” which served as the latter’s feature directorial debut. Abrams has remained on board as a producer on the “Mission: Impossible” property ever since, meaning he and Cruise have been working together for a long time now. Not to mention, when a guy like Cruise recommends something, it’s probably worth taking seriously. That’s precisely what Abrams did, it seems. source
